Kristi Noem Suggests Joe Biden’s Dog Should Be Shot & Killed

The White House has issued a strong rebuke to statements made by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, in which she hinted at causing harm to President Joe Biden’s dog. The remarks, deemed “disturbing” and “absurd” by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, sparked outrage across the political spectrum. Noem’s controversial comments surfaced from her campaign book, “No Going Back.” The book drew significant attention when it came to light that she had written about euthanizing her own dog and an aggressive goat for being unmanageable and a threat to safety.

In her book, Noem not only recounted the unsettling decisions to kill her pet and the goat but also insinuated that, if elected President in 2025, her first order of business would be to ensure she removes President Biden’s dog, Commander, from the White House premises. Moreover, she ominously suggested the dog would meet the same fate as her own. Despite these contentious remarks, Noem attempted to justify her actions and the suggestions made about Commander by citing past incidents where Commander had reportedly bitten Secret Service agents. According to her, “drastic measures” were necessary.

The debate over the German Shepherd re-emerged during Noem’s appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” When pressed on whether her comments were an attempt to project toughness or if she still eyed the Vice Presidential spot, Noem shifted the focus to the dog’s past attacks on Secret Service personnel, questioning the adequacy of measures taken by President Biden.

Further complicating matters, Noem faced scrutiny over false claims in her book about a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Despite the publisher’s decision to retract these claims, Noem insisted she was not retracting anything — per The Guardian.

Noem’s aspirations for national office and her endorsement of Donald Trump remain evident, as she attended a Trump fundraiser, albeit without receiving the limelight like some of her contemporaries. This incident and her controversial book content could significantly impact her political trajectory and public image.
