A heartbreaking scene was captured on video when a dog owner dumped their little Bull Terrier mix in the middle of the road in Long Beach, California. Long Beach dog dumped on street chases after owner’s car

A food delivery driver encountered a very sad scene while on the road. They witnessed a pet parent dumping their furry friend on the streets of Long Beach. However, the pup’s desperate attempt at reuniting with his owner made the moment even more heartbreaking. The dog chased after the car and tried to jump in through the window.

The food delivery driver followed the car until it sped off, leaving the dog behind. In the video, the driver could be heard expressing their shock at being a witness to such an unfortunate incident. Fortunately, dog lover Destiny Gomez came across the video. Per NBC 6, she helps canines find their forever homes and said she couldn’t stop crying when she watched the video.

The 24-year-old shared the heartbreaking video with her Instagram followers, asking for their help locating the pup so she could help him. Within hours, Gomez had locations and coordinates where her followers spotted him. After her boyfriend had located and picked up the dog, the couple fed and groomed him, naming the Bull Terrier mix Chico.

Destiny Gomez has already found a foster parent for Chico. He will stay near Palos Verdes until the 24-year-old finds the pup a forever home. While many of her followers are contacting her to adopt the dog, Gomez noted that she likes to reach out to rescues first. She feels it is the best choice for the canines she helps find a home for.
