Chinook

The Chinook (pronounced Sha-Nook) is a rare sled dog breed that originated in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. In the early 1900s, Arthur Treadwell Walden purposely bred this athletic and hardy dog to assist in hauling freight across the harsh New England winters.
