Some dogs find it really easy to pick up new commands and routines. They are referred to as easy-to-train dog breeds and are usually very attentive, intelligent, and eager to please their pet parents.

Breeds like Border Collies, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, and Labrador Retrievers are known to be easy to train. They are quick to learn commands, and the experience with them is always positive – these dogs enjoy having something to do. They are very eager to please their owners, and this makes the time and effort you spend on them very rewarding.

However, you must understand that even easy-to-train dogs require patience and encouragement. By choosing a breed that suits your lifestyle and daily routine, you can ensure that the training experience is enjoyable for both your pooch and yourself.

You need to begin with basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and drop. Try to keep your training sessions short and positive – you can use treats, praise, or even toys as rewards.

Consistency is everything! Use the same commands every time and practice them in different environments. This will help your fur baby understand what you expect of them, no matter where they are.

Also, every dog learns at a different pace, so do not expect your dog to get familiar with commands the same way another canine does. Even dog breeds that can be taught commands easily need patience and sufficient repetition – don’t punish them, but focus on rewarding their progress.
