Kevin Costner recently revealed that his beloved puppy shares some personality traits with him. The 7-month-old pup is as passive as the actor in everyday life. However, when brought to a field, the Labrador Retriever showcases his true potential, much like Costner when brought to a movie set.

In a recent interview with People, Kevin Costner noted that he shares a personality trait with his puppy, Bobby. The duo tends to be extremely passive in everyday life but pulls it together on the field or the set. The actor stated that the Labrador Retriever is lazy and sleeps a lot. Moreover, when they get in a car to go somewhere, the pup doesn’t care much where they are headed.

However, Bobby jumps into action when he is on the field. Costner jokingly said, “…you see his IQ go up 30 points.” The “Horizon: An American Saga” star also has this personality trait, as he noted that he is “very passive” in his everyday life. However, he is locked in once he has committed to a role and does his best. Costner likens Bobby’s expertise in the field to what he showcases on the movie set.

Kevin Costner has previously mentioned some of his puppy’s quirks that he finds endearing. However, in the interview with People, he stated that the quirks aren’t as adorable anymore as Bobby gets bigger.

The 7-month-old pup loves sleeping in the dishwasher, a quirk he picked up when he was just a puppy. However, now the actor has to push him out as he is too heavy. Unfortunately, the canine must find a new napping spot as he has outgrown his favorite one.

Bobby has been frequenting the “Horizon: An American Saga” set as his pet parent works on the third movie of the four-part series. In an Instagram post, Costner exclaimed that the Labrador Retriever is “a natural on set.”
