Content creator Eddie was on vacation in Puerto Rico when he first met a mongrel. After giving her something to eat, the canine started following him. In his first video about the stray, he noted that her company was much appreciated as he missed his pet back home.

He and his girlfriend were on their way to the beach, and the pup led them just there. The canine won their hearts with her playful personality, and they wished to bring her back to their Airbnb. The first video, where the dog can be seen following the man as he headed to the beach in Puerto Rico, garnered more than 300,000 likes and 7,000 comments.

According to People, they named the pup Cici and returned to look for her the next day. They first took her to the adoption organization Souls of Satos. The organization helped the man bring the dog back home after his vacation in Puerto Rico. In a viral Instagram video, he thanked his followers and the locals, who helped immensely with the adoption.

Before Cici was sent to Philadelphia to live happily with her forever family, she was taken to the vet for spaying and vaccination. It was determined that she had heartworm but was in the earlier stages of the disease. So, the organization promptly sent the stray to her humans so she could receive timely treatment in the comfort of a loving home.

She is doing exceptionally well adjusting to Eddie’s other dog, Chooch. The Philadelphia man noted that they bonded right after seeing each other for the first time.
