Anyone who’s lost a beloved pet has wished to speak with them at one time or another. Thankfully, there may now be a way you can connect with your departed friends.

Lawyer-turned-pet psychic Nikki Vasconez explains that animals choose, “the exact time, the exact way,” they want to pass, in a video recently published on Instagram,

Nikki also claims to be able to speak with deceased pets. She claims that our pets are with us, even if they may not be physically present.

Origins of a Pet Psychic

According to her website, Nikki Vasconez spent most of her childhood interacting with animals. She says she’s always felt a close connection to other living beings. But it wasn’t until her late 20s that Nikki decided to dive into psychic animal communication.

Leaving her initial career as a litigation lawyer, she spent months absorbing information about animal communication. She even gave free readings to friends or family in exchange for feedback. When she felt ready, she began marketing her services as a pet psychic on social media. Since then, Nikki has received an overwhelmingly positive response.

Communicating With Pets Who Have Passed

In the aforementioned Instagram video, Nikki describes her experience communicating with a cat named Smokey. Smokey’s parents were worried because his health was diminishing. Because of this, they wanted to know if their cat was about to pass and if he wanted assistance.

He said ‘I am ready to leave my physical body now but I was not ready last week.’ He said, ‘There’s something important that I wanted to be a part of that happened last week,’” says Nikki.

Afterward, the cat’s parents shared with Nikki that last week had been their 15th wedding anniversary. Apparently, Smokey had been with them for every anniversary, even their wedding, according to the New York Post.

Connecting With Our Pets

According to Nikki, about half of all the people who reach out to her wish to speak to their deceased pets. Understandably, this is a huge source of grief for pet parents, and being able to find some closure provides a sense of relief and calm.

“Of the animals I’ve spoken to that have passed, they are never upset, angry, or hold a grudge,” she said. “In my experience, they’ve only ever been happy and free and talk about how parts of their body have been restored and ailments that have gone away.”

Grieving the loss of a pet takes time, and grief looks different for every pet owner. What matters is taking the time to appreciate the lives of our furry companions, and hanging onto the memories we create together.
