Last month, people around the world became absolutely smitten with Jeffrey and Jermaine, two young Pit Bull–Labrador Retriever mix brothers rescued as strays in West Philadelphia. Jeffrey is blind; Jermaine is Jeffrey’s loyal companion, his comfort, and his Seeing Eye dog.
