Kaley Cuoco and her boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, are rapidly expanding their family! The celebrity power couple has adopted a new dog while simultaneously awaiting the arrival of their first baby girl.
Kaley Cuoco Adopts New Dog
The pregnant “Flight Attendant” star shared the big news on her Instagram Story last week.
“We did a thing … again. Welcome Miss Opal (little widdle girl) into our growing family,” the 37-year-old actress wrote on a pic of herself cuddling the new canine.
“Thank you @deityanimalrescue and an amazing foster @thisisdarragh for bringing this angel to us!” she added.
Miss Opal is a chihuahua who joins several other dog siblings. (How many is unclear. Cuoco once told Variety, “I’m not allowed to say how many I have, because I am afraid they will come knocking, saying that it’s an illegal amount.”) What we do know is that Miss Opal is not the only chihuahua in residence.
More Instagram Stories confirmed this, as the new fur baby was seen interacting with the family’s other dogs.
“She’s hilarious and already torturing every dog in this house,” Cuoco wrote over one video of Opal playfully teasing another pup. “Leave him alone. Sorry, Dumpy. I’m so sorry, she’s so crazy.”
On a subsequent vid featuring Miss Opal and a larger pup, Cuoco wrote, “She’s obsessed with her biggest brother too.”
Miss Opal seems to be pretty comfortable in her new home, as she’s already snuggling up in bed with her siblings. “She won’t leave him alone him LOL,” Cuoco remarked.
And she’s taking ownership of the grounds, too.
“Thinks she runs the backyard already LOL,” Cuoco wrote on yet another vid of her four-legged brood, where Opal appeared to be taking charge.
Tom Pelphrey Embracing Dog Dad Role
Pelphrey, an actor best known for his roles on “Outer Range” and “Ozark,” has reportedly become a chihuahua convert.
“@tommypelphrey didn’t know he was a little chi lover and he is now obsessed and nothing makes me happier,” Cuoco wrote on a pic of her 40-year-old boyfriend cuddling with Miss Opal.
The couple is awaiting the arrival of their first baby together, whom they have been referring to as “baby girl Pelphrey.”
“Kaley is comfortable about Tom as mate and father, comfortable about the big change the baby will have in their lives, and comfortable about her work,” a source told People. “They are preparing for the arrival which isn’t far off. She is in a good place.”
Let’s hope the fur babies don’t get too jealous of the human baby when she arrives!
