- Tumor

Treatments for Head Tilt in Dogs

Thirdly, a full physical examination will be carried out. Special attention will be paid to the ears.
Generally, blood and urine tests will also be taken.

Ultimately, treatment depends on the underlying cause of the condition. For example, in some cases, the condition will thankfully clear up on its own.
In other cases, antibiotics can be used to fight off an infection. As always, if your vet prescribes your dog any medicine, make sure to stick to the correct dose and frequency instructions. Also, complete the full course of medicine.
Additionally, supportive therapy can be used. In some instances, this can include intravenous fluid therapy. This will be administered while in hospital.
