This video instantly became viral, with fans finding the Rottweiler’s actions adorable.
It also marked one of the account’s viral moments but it was not a first for the duo. They are popular on the platform, with many of their followers already aware of Blake’s responses to nail-trimming sessions.
Video shows Rottweiler reacting to nail-trimming time
Dog nail trimming is one of the most important aspects of pet care and grooming. TikTok user @chopfromgta and her Rottweiler Blake are not new to the process. The owner has been sharing dog trimming sessions with her rescue dog on TikTok, which have garnered them a wide fanbase. In a recent video shared by the user, Blake responded with strong emotions as his owner attempted to trim his nails.
In a recent video, the TikTok user revealed that it is her dog Blake’s “nail clipping day.” She revealed that her pet had been acting fussy since that morning. To help her with a smooth nail trimming session, she pulled out some “high-value treats,” including cheese to feed the canine. For every nail on Blake’s paw, the owner counted from 1 to 3 before proceeding to clip it. The first paw was not difficult to get over with, given the pet’s calm reaction.
When it came to the other paw, the TikTok user faced a minute challenge. When she asked him to hand her his other paw, Blake growled. He handed the paw that had already been trimmed. While showcasing strong emotions, he eventually handed her the right paw. The owner thanked and applauded him in response. She followed the same process, saying, “This isn’t for the weak.”
By the end of the video, the TikTok user put out a disclaimer stating that what her followers witnessed from Blake was not a “Rottie Rumble.” A “Rottie Rumble” is a low growl that Rottweilers let out when they are happy or excited. Meanwhile, the owner revealed that the nail trimming session is a “very stressful activity” for her dog.
In a previous video, the user revealed how Blake used to struggle with nail trimming. Nevertheless, the two have come a long way since then.
