Glen Powell’s dog Brisket might be more famous than him, as the actor recounts an incident when a fan first recognized the canine on the streets of New York City. The “Anyone But You” star adopted the Terrier Poodle mix last year and described him as “1.5 pounds of raw power” in the Instagram post introducing the pup to the world.

In a recent interview with People, Glen Powell mentioned that his dog Brisket recently celebrated his first birthday. However, the Terrier Poodle mix already has a fan following of his own as people have started recognizing him on the streets. In a funny fan interaction the actor had very recently, his fan spotted Brisket on the streets of New York City.

Recognizing Brisket, the fan said that he looked very similar to Glen Powell’s dog. However, she didn’t notice the actor standing right behind the canine till much later, per People. The “Hit Man” star exclaimed that it was one of his most memorable recent fan interactions.

Powell adopted Brisket last year from the Labelle Foundation. He previously stated that his canine companion is quite spoiled and gets away with a lot. The actor not only enjoys his furry friend’s company but also feels Brisket is a funny yet well-behaved pup. Moreover, since the Terrier Poodle mix is so small, Powell can easily carry him around when he is out and about.

Glen Powell recounted a funny incident that happened when he was flying with his dog. Brisket managed to escape his carrier on a commercial flight and made plenty of friends while his human slept. When Powell woke up, after the brief panic, he realized his pup had cozied up with the other passengers.

He told People, “The whole plane was just snuggling Brisket in the back, and they were loving on him. There were kids playing with him.”
