While Gabrielle Pelfrey thought her dog’s reaction to watching “The Lion King” was normal, her TikTok followers were quick to inform her that it wasn’t. Not every dog gets as emotional as Winston the Beagle, who often expresses his emotions while watching certain movies and TV shows. The pup has some intriguing reactions to “101 Dalmatians,” “The Grinch,” “Moana,” and “Beethoven.”

However, according to Fox News, “Homeward Bound” is one of Winston’s favorite movies. Pelfrey noted that the Beagle “loses it at the end” almost always. She suspects he has a bigger reaction when it is a live-action, which explains why the TikTok video with the dog watching “The Lion King” went viral.

The Ohio resident stated that Winston was always sensitive. She adopted him when he was only eight weeks old. Their movie-binging saga started when the duo first sat down to watch a film when the pup was sick. Pelfrey gave Winston some company, watching TV by his side to comfort him when he wasn’t doing too well.

However, she noticed her dog loved watching TV and engaged with what he saw. The owner found it quite funny, sharing Winston’s big reaction to “The Lion King,” the 2019 live-action film. The TikTok video has gained over 7.5 million views, with 1.4 million likes and more than 5,000 comments.

Her followers joked that they could relate to Winston’s emotional reactions to the scenes. Moreover, Gabrielle Pelfrey stated the Beagle also picks up on her emotions, comforting her when needed.
