George and Amal Clooney have a new St. Bernard puppy
George and Amal Clooney recently enjoyed a delightful outing with a charming new companion, as per People. The couple was photographed earlier this month with an adorable St. Bernard puppy while they were out for a walk on a sunny day. Amal had the puppy nestled in her arms while the 62-year-old actor had the leash.
The pup looked content in Amal’s arms. Moreover, Amal wore an elegant brown dress and black boots. On the other hand, George opted for a casual look, donning a black jacket and blue jeans.
The recent addition to the Clooney family is called Nelson. However, Nelson isn’t the first St. Bernard to live with the Clooneys. They have another St. Bernard, Rosie, who was named in loving memory of George’s late aunt, Rosemary.
The Ocean Eleven actor is famous for his steadfast dedication to animal rescue. Additionally, he has a rich legacy of welcoming furry companions into his life.
Among his beloved pets, George had a Cocker Spaniel called Einstein, who passed away in 2017. Moreover, he famously had a pig called Max, who departed in 2006. He has previously talked about how much he enjoyed having Max.
In his words, “Pigs are really smart. And he was funny, and he made me laugh. But they’re work because they’ll destroy everything if you let them.”
Since then, the Clooneys have embraced Millie, a Basset Hound, and Louie, another Spaniel, into their home.
In addition to being pet parents, George and Amal Clooney are also parents to two children, Ella and Alexander, who are 6½-year-old twins.
