Boxers… the good stuff
- Boxers are intelligent, motivated, and relatively easy to train.
- These dogs are exceptionally affectionate with their human family, and usually get along great with kids.
- Boxers are not big shedders and require very little grooming.
- Boxers love to play and exhibit an almost unmatched zest for life.
Boxers… don’t say we didn’t warn you
- Thanks to the their short muzzles and short hair, Boxers are just not built for extreme temperatures. You’ll need to take extra care to keep yours cool in summer and warm in winter.
- Boxers can be mouthy. Start training bite inhibition early.
- Like many breeds, Boxers don’t do well with long stretches by themselves. They should not be left alone for hours on end.
- Boxers are highly energetic. Highly energetic. They require a lot of exercise to be kept happy (not to mention, manageable).
