Professor Xavier called heterochromia iridum a “groovy mutation” in X-Men: First Class. David Bowie was famous for having it. Heterochromia iridum is a difference in coloration, usually of the eyes, and you may have seen it in dogs, people, or other animals. There are a few different causes, but it usually has to do with a difference in melanin that changes the color of the irises.
