Mastitis in Dogs: Symptoms, Causes, & Treatments

Mastitis is an inflammation of the mammary glands, which are the milk-producing glands located in a dog’s breasts. It is most commonly seen in nursing mothers, but it can also affect non-lactating female dogs and, in rare cases, males.
