As a pet parent, you likely love to spoil your fur babies – and what better occasion than the holidays? Well, one TikToker is about to put your Santa-esque efforts to shame because she made her dogs’ Christmas dreams come true in such an elaborate way that the rest of us mere mortals will struggle to top it.

Christmas Spirit

Popular TikToker @chipgirlhere posted a video that’d make any pup who happened to pay attention to social media jealous. (To compare is to despair, Fido. Don’t do it!) The clip, which has amassed over 5.7 million views, begins with a close-up of a tray of festive dog treats. Then, the camera pans to a two-story dog mansion with a tube slide spiraling down from the second floor. The front door – which features a Grinch-themed sign – opens to reveal a living area with a decked-out Christmas tree, table and chairs, and a bunk bed – for dogs! (We didn’t even know that was a thing. We have fellow TikToker @bri.at.home to thank for the decorating eye candy.)

The top bunk is where we meet what appears to be a Golden Retriever with reindeer antlers on its head. Up a flight of stairs, another pup is lounging in a huge dog bed. All the canines get treated to what is essentially breakfast in bed, because they’re so cozy, they can’t be bothered to get up!

Naughty or Nice

People couldn’t help but, well, dog pile on in the comments section.

“wow!! and I thought MY dog was spoiled,” one remarked.

“these dogs have a nicer place than my apartment,” another observed.

“How do these dogs have a better credit score than I do,” someone else joked.

Most of the commenters, however, while stunned by the extravagant living space, also thought it unfortunate that the dogs sleep apart from their parents.

“I find this incredibly sweet but also incredibly sad also,” another commenter wrote. “Like why aren’t they in the house snuggled up with you???”

Perhaps this gratuitous display of wealth is a good reminder that the best things in life are free – like a dog who refuses to leave your bed, no matter how many treats you tempt them with!
