Millie Bobby Brown has a new dog. She and her fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, have taken a significant step in pet adoption. The couple has extended their warm home to a foster dog from the Humane Society Naples (HSN) in Florida, signifying their love for animals and the support they have towards rescue groups.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi adopt “Jabba”
The two celebrities visited HSN in Naples, Florida, and connected with Shark, a pooch they chose to foster via Joey’s Friends — an animal rescue group Brown supports. This group’s primary mission is providing temporary care for rescued dogs, offering them the much-needed assistance to help them transition from rescue facilities to their future homes.
HSN posted on Instagram expressing their delight at the visit by Brown and Bongiovi, as well as announcing the pup’s foster. Their post featured photos of the young couple and shelter workers cradling the new addition, Shark, now fondly named Jabba. They extended their appreciation to the pair for opening their hearts and home to this dog, remarking on the broad prospects their gesture has availed for him.
Another dog renamed after “Millie”
As a token of appreciation for Millie’s goodwill, the shelter also decided to rename one of their dogs after her. Big Brown, now Millie, is a rescue dog currently available for adoption.
Not to mention, Joey’s Friends was not slow in sharing details of the newly fostered Jabba, via Instagram to detail his sweet nature, and renaming it aptly from the Star Wars theme to symbolize peace and tranquility. The dog, according to the group’s post, carries the “wisdom of a thousand star systems” and his personality is a testament to that.
Concluding the post, Joey’s Friends mentioned Jabba’s medical state of being vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. The Instagram caption wrapped up on an encouraging note, inspiring others to welcome a rescue dog into their lives and underlining their significant impact in providing a serene companionship.
