If the cord on electric clippers somehow keeps getting in your way (I’m almost surprised I’ve never clipped right through the cord) you’ll be happy to know that today’s cordless clippers are a new generation. It used to be that you traded power for the convenience of freedom from the cord–even if you ran out of juice halfway through. That’s no longer the case. Today you can be cord-free and still have all the oomph of a corded clipper, as long as you’re willing to pay the price.
