“This Easter weekend a man delivering groceries for Instacart shot & killed our precious Oliver,” she posted, alongside images and videos memorializing the German Shepherd-Beagle mix. Harmon further explained that her home’s security camera was inside charging, which the driver might have noticed and realized his actions were not being recorded.
In response to the tragic incident, a representative from Instacart expressed deep sorrow and disturbance — per People. The company emphasized its zero tolerance for any form of violence, confirming the immediate suspension of the driver’s account.
“We have been in direct contact with the customer and are cooperating with law enforcement on their investigation,” the representative stated.
