Murder charges for Texas man who killed friend for choking dog
Flores told police that a heated argument between him and his friend resulted in the victim choking his dog. Fearing for his pet’s life, Flores said he shot and killed his friend to set his dog free. Police haven’t made the dog’s breed or age clear to the public. Authorities expect the canine to make a full recovery.
Flores remains in custody as the District Attorney’s Office in Harris County, Texas, who have formally charged him with murder.
This shocking incident comes a few weeks after police arrested an Indiana man who beat and choked a neighbor for mistreating a dog.
